<h3 style="text-align:center;"><b>Bye Bye Birdie Auditions</b></h3>
<p>Gatesinger Company Ltd will be holding auditions for their spring production of “Bye Bye Birdie” a musical comedy with a book by Michael Stewart, lyrics by Lee Adams, and music by Charles Strouse. “Bye Bye Birdie” is the story of an Elvis like Rock and Roll Star (Conrad Birdie) who travels to Sweet Apple, Ohio where he is to get a goodbye kiss on The Ed Sullivan Show from 15 year Kim McAfee before he enters the Army.</p>
<p>Audition dates are <strong>Jan 22 and 23</strong> from <strong>11-2pm</strong> at Gates Hall <strong>4107 Lake Road, Pultneyville, NY 14538</strong>. Auditions will be held for lead roles. No audition is necessary for chorus but we request chorus members to come to one of the auditions to sign up. If you are interested, but, are unable to attend the audition dates please send an email to The.Gatesinger.Company.Ltd@gmail.com . Participants must be aged 13+. People who audition are asked to <strong>bring a song to sing</strong> or sing a song from the show. An accompanist will be available. Each person auditioning will also be asked to do a reading from material which will be provided.<br />
Performances are <strong>April 8,9,10</strong>. Rehearsals will be held on Wed (beginning <strong>1/26/2011</strong>) and Saturdays (beginning <strong>1/29/2011</strong>)</p>

<p> Mr Macafee &#8211; aged 30-50 <br /> Family Father Figurehead &#8211; old fashioned  </p>
<p> Mrs Macafee &#8211; aged 25-45 <br /> Devoted Wife and Mother &#8211; old fashioned </p>
<p> Kim  Macafee &#8211; aged 14-25 <br /> Teenage Daughter &#8211; newly engaged to Hugo <br />  President of  Conrad Birdie Fanclub</p>
<p> Randolph Macafee &#8211; aged 13-16 (??) <br /> Little brother </p>
<p> Mrs Peterson (non-singing) &#8211; aged 40-60 <br /> Albert&#8217;s Mother &#8211;  smothering and  loves to throw the guilt about </p>
